Thousands Take in Downtown Race (R News)

More than 20,000 people filled the streets of downtown Rochester Saturday night to watch some of the world’s best cyclists compete. “I always wanted to have a pro bike shop involved with a pro race,” said organizer Scott Page. “So, I put the two of them together.

More national attention in the case of a local escaped convict wanted for the shooting of a state trooper. The case of Ralph “Bucky” Phillips was featured on “America’s Most Wanted” Saturday night. He is accused of shooting Trooper Sean Brown earlier this month in Chemung County.




Car and Motorcycle Collide (R News)

A car and motorcycle collided in Webster Saturday night sending two people to the hospital. It happened at the intersection of Ridge Road and Webster Commons Boulevard. Police said that the car turned into the path of the motorcycle.
