They started out with all calls including to other networks at 8p / min and tests at 4p. Unfortunately the price has just risen to 10p/ min and 6p for tests. However they are still much cheaper than any other network. They will work out cheaper for light users, heavy users and smart phone users. All you need is an unlocked phone.

UK coverage is fine — (it’s delivered via the O2 network) Foreign use works exactly as you would expect, but you can’t use data abroad yet for smart phones.

Verdict — great fun toy, but probably not worth updating from the Ipad 1 if you have it already unless your budget is limitless.
